My Perspective on Arts and Entertainment
While there are many who would define Arts and Entertainment in a much narrower sense, I lean towards inclusiveness. Margaret Wolfe Hungerford wrote in her book ,”Molly Brown”, that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. That phrase has been used by many since 1878. Similarly, the subjectiveness of the terms “arts and entertainment”, are in the minds of the “beholders and partakers”.
Most of us are entertained by many different things in life. Additionally, we don’t stop to ask ourselves if someone else views what is entertaining us as entertainment. I think that quite often the thing that entertains us involves something that someone else considers art. For example, a dancer might entertain us with a dance, all the while feeling that they are expressing their art. Without a doubt, they are!
I believe a real artist includes a passion in their creative expression! Consequently, their finished work usually exudes a unique quality and higher value than the average. I find this to be true of fine wine as well!
Fine Wines
There are many wines on the market these days. Just because a product is labeled “wine”, does not qualify it as a true wine. Real wine, wine with quality and high value, is a product that takes time to vint. What’s more, it does not contain additives to “speed” up the process! Additionally, fine wine has exquisite taste which is also a result of experienced artisans we call wine makers. Accordingly, these wine makers include a certain passion in their work and a love of their art. The resulting product is rich in flavor, bouquet, and all-around pleasure.
